The 2017 OHCRA Championships at Keʻehi wrapped up the regular season of regatta competition as clubs looked to qualify crews for the Maui States in two weeks. Ānuenue entered their usual crews, and the Mixed Novice B group had a good day taking the top spot along with a berth in States with their leading point total. Although there is no division in States, both 70+ crews got medals with the women finishing third and the men second. The 60+ women did their best and are eligible for States with another fifth place. Overall the club finished fourth in the “A” division – just needing a few more points to go home with a trophy.
