This year Ānuenue was missing in action for Oahu races. This unfortunate development was disappointing to club paddlers but occurred for various reasons ranging from a drop in club membership to organizational difficulties. Hopefully we will be able to correct these problem in the coming year. Nappy himself and several club members did travel to New Zealand in February for the annual Takapuna Cup races held each year near Auckland. One other positive note: At long last Jay Dowsett has completed work on Kaʻala and the canoe will;l be ready for regatta season. Hopefully a blessing and club get together will be held some time in May.
