Book dept: World class bagpiper, our own Hardy Spoehr, has just come out with a second edition of his book detailing the history of piping in the islands. This much expanded version has many new photos and includes a fascinating history of early Hawaii with many interesting anecdotes. Speaking of second editions, Dr. Pete published a new edition this past December of his Adventurerʻs Hawaii photo and essay book. This award winning hard cover book features many spectacular new photos and memorable stories about locations in the islands accessible only to hikers and kayakers. Available online at Amazon and at selected retail locations, you can read about it at the bookʻs website: http://www.adventurershawaii.com
