Waimānalo provided its usual number of hulis and challenging shore break episodes for an exciting day of paddling. For the third week on a row, the 70s men grabbed a silver medal after surviving a near disaster with a false start getting off the beach. All crews did a good job for the day but no other top three finishes. We were all proud of our great looking renovated Kaʻala, which had been nameless for the initial regattas.
